It is just that, situated on the shore of Discovery Passage. The ocean highway has a constant panorama of the ferry to Quadra Island, boats and Cruise Ships from many countries glide by. Sea life is in abundance, Seals, Sea Lions, flocks of ducks, flights of Canada Geese, gulls hovering over bait balls in the surf; all are visitors to these waters. Killer whales can be sighted on their unscheduled trips up and down the Passage.

The focal point of the view is the Hunting Tree where two Eagles perch and keep watch on the ocean’s abundance.

Start your morning with a sea walk then join us with a power-up breakfast. Menus are varied and might include a Smoked Salmon Quiche, Veggie Frittata's, French toast, freshly cooked grated potatoes and poached eggs, baked apples, fresh fruit cups topped with cinnamon, delicious chewy grain toast or nine grain oatmeal and a smoothie. Breakfast is served at The Captains Table overlooking the water or on deck amid natures wonders.
